When do Patients sign their Consent Forms?

Though patients can read, review and ask questions about the consent form they have received, they can only sign it when they are with you in the practice prior to the treatment.

The reason is because the current reviewed consent would no longer be valid should the patient sign it at home and then come back to the practice a week or 2 later asking further questions.  This allows you to cover anything new whilst with the patient and sign the consent form there and then.
